Turret Punch Machine – VIDEO by Samin Sheet Metal

The fully automated turret punch machine is able to operate without human involvement for long periods of time. Utilizing robotic load and unload systems, it has the ability to work in a “lights out, unmanned” running environment 24 hours a day if necessary,.. helping us achieve our customer’s delivery objectives. This video explains and highlights the multitude of uses for the Turret Punch Press machine, please enjoy watching!

The turret punch press co-ordinates punching tools of various shapes and sizes that are housed in a circular “turret”, which then punches a combined series of holes in the metal sheet to cut out the exact required shape.

The range of punching tool shapes held in the turret for each task is dependent upon your job specifications. Just about ANY shape can be punched out thousands of times with extremely high levels of accuracy. The machine is capable of handling sheets of Mild steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

Each specific action required of the turret punch is carefully programed before the job starts, enabling the programmer to optimise the available space on the sheet to reduce wastage. Once your job is set up, the turret punch literally runs by itself.

Metal sheets are automatically loaded and unloaded into the turret punch and the completed components are then collected and taken to our other factory work stations for welding, assembly, powder coating , anodising and screen printing as required.
