Welding
Welding services are provided by Samin either as part of a larger component manufacturing process, or stand alone. When welding is required as part of the manufacturing process for your component or part, all the required information for correct assembly will be included in the CAD/CAM design and manufacturing process.
Tig Welding - typically used for welding stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, this is a very neat and clean process.
Mig Welding - not as clean as Tig Welding, this method is used for stainless steel, and is the most common form of welding for mild steel.
CD Stud Welding - used to weld threaded studs onto mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Spot Welding - as the name suggests, this process is used to 'spot weld' two pieces of material together, (usually mild steel or stainless steel), and is so neat it can often not be detected under painwork.

Turret Punching
Constantly updating our equipment is key to Samin's efficient operations. This not only makes us competitive on cost and turnaround time, it allows us to create metal components to a quality that others cannot.
Our Machine Operators bring their years of industryexperience to every job, along with the technical expertise they have received from training on each machine we operate.
The result? The highest quality components produced within a streamlined system, using the most reliable equipment available.
Currently, we run two Turret Punching machines:
Amada Vipros 225 - workable sheet size 1200 x 1270 with auto-reposition; maximum material thickness 6.0mm; 1000 hits/minute punching rate; accurate to within + 0.01mm
Amada Aries 245 - workable sheet size 1200 x 100 with auto-reposition; maximum material thickness 4.5mm; 375 hits/minute punching rate; accurate to within +0.01mm.
With these machines, we can guarantee the accuracy of every part and component we manufacture.
Our highly efficient CAD/CAM system downloads CAD designs, and their subsequent CAM programs into the machine controls. From there, the operator loads the correct tools, places the sheet on the table and the machine goes to work on your job.
Turret Punching machines offer you the most economical, accurate method of producing flat metal components of any configuration.

Folding
Folding machines often form an integral part of Samin's component manufacturing process. The process of folding requires a great degree of accuracy and precision, which our operators deliver.
We currently run two CNC Folding machines commonly known as Press Brakes - a three-axis model and an eight-axis model which allows us to achieve a much more intricate result in a single pass.
Amada Promecam HFB 125 - 3m x 125 ton; 8-axis; numerically controlled; accurate to within + 0.01mm.
Amada RG 100L - 4m x 100 ton; 3-axis numerically controlled; accurate to within + 0.01mm.
Both of these machines are used to fold components to a high degree of accuracy, the Press Brake with eight axis gives us an astounding amount of flexibility when it comes to folding.
You can rest assured, no matter how simple or complicated your requirements, from a simple folding or welding project to intricate componentry, Samin will apply the same attention to detail across the entire production process. A process which is streamlined by our comprehensive software system, allowing us to pinpoint the progress of your job whenever you like.

Laser Cutting
Literally the cutting edge of complexity in pattern-cutting all types of material, the Laser Cutter will perform with supreme agility cutting metal, timbers, laminates, acrylic and a host of other materials.
So, if you have a project which requires intricate form work, or you would like your components to have higher-than-average edge quality, you can trust Samin to manufacture your design to exating specifications.
The Amada LC2415 II machine is a 1500 watt (1.5KW) Laser Cutter, taking a workable sheet of 1500 x 2400 with auto reposition. It will pattern-cut various materials to a high accuracy in the following thicknesses:
Mild Steel 9mm, Stainless Steel 9mm, Aluminium 3mm, Copper 1.2mm, Brass 1.2mm, Perspex 20mm, Wood varies with type.
The Laser Cutter is programmed, through the CAD/CAM system - monitoring and controlling the progress of your job's design and manufacture throughout the entire process. From the downloading of the designs and machine programs, the sheets of material are loaded and laser cutting begins.
When a high level of surface quality is required up to an edge, laser cutting will avoid the slight edge deformation created by punching.
Indeed, Laser Cutting is a convenient, cost-effective method of producing precision-cut parts of any shape and complexity, without requiring the added expense of the special tooling used in the past to create such results. This gives you the flexibility to modify your components any time you like, without incurring costly charges.
