4 Types Of Welding

There are 4 main types of welding:

Tig Welding - typically used for welding stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, this is a very neat and clean process.

Mig Welding - not as clean as Tig Welding, this method is used for stainless steel and is the most common form of welding for mild steel.

CD Stud Welding - used to weld threaded studs onto mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Spot Welding - as the name suggests, this process is used to ‘spot weld’ two pieces of material together, (usually mild steel or stainless steel), and is so neat it can often not be detected under paintwork.
